Flamingo Beach - Costa Rica

Playa Flamingo is on the west coast province of Guanacaste. Set amidst the lush, tropical coast and boarded by crystal clear waters, Playa Flamingo offers a paradise where students may enjoy a relaxing beachside vacation while perfecting their Spanish. The small town of Flamingo consists primarily of stores and hotels; the nearby towns of Potrero and Brasilito where the majority of our homestays are located, are typical “Guanacasteco” towns, which maintain a strong representation of traditional Costa Rican culture.

The School

The school is located on the waterfront, facing the marina, at the entrance of the town of Flamingo. Classes are held in a new complex with 15 classrooms, a garden area, kitchen, video room, common area and a pool with a patio. Capacity is 70 students a day and participants are mainly from the United States and Canada, although many nationalities are represented.
